1. Mission Statement
At Lavender Lush Massage, our mission is to provide high-quality, personalized massage therapy services in a peaceful, professional, and respectful environment, promoting wellness and relaxation for each client.
2. Code of Conduct
• All therapists are licensed, insured, and committed to maintaining high ethical standards.
• Clients will be treated with respect, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session and potential banning from future appointments.
3. Booking and Scheduling
• Appointments are required and can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person.
• New clients must complete an intake form before their first session.
• Late arrivals may result in a shortened session; full fees still apply.
• A 15-minute grace period applies for late arrivals. Beyond this, the session may be canceled.
4. Cancellation Policy
• We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the session fee.
• Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Intake and Health History
• All clients must fill out an intake form detailing health conditions, allergies, and medications.
• Therapists must be informed of any updates to health status before each session.
• We reserve the right to refuse treatment if a condition contraindicates massage.
6. Draping and Client Comfort
• Professional draping is used at all times. Only the area being worked on will be undraped.
• Clients are encouraged to communicate regarding pressure, temperature, and comfort.
• Clients may undress to their level of comfort and will always be covered appropriately.
8. Hygiene and Sanitation
• All equipment, linens, and treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected between each client.
• Therapists wash hands before and after each session.
• Clients showing signs of illness will be rescheduled.
9. Payment Policy
• Payment is due at the time of service.
• We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payment methods.
• Gratuities are appreciated but not required.
10. Confidentiality and Privacy
• All client information is confidential and stored securely.
• Client records are only shared with written consent or as required by law.
11. Client Feedback and Complaints
• Feedback is encouraged to improve our services.
• Complaints should be addressed to management in writing and will be handled promptly.
12. Therapist Conduct and Boundaries
• Therapists may terminate the session if the client behaves inappropriately.
• Therapists will refer clients out if they are not the best fit for the client’s needs.
13. Emergency and Safety Procedures
• Emergency contact information must be on file for all clients.
• In the event of a fire, medical emergency, or natural disaster, the therapist will follow the building’s evacuation plan.
14. Gift certificates awarded through competitions or giveaways.
• If two appointments booked using a competition-won gift certificate are canceled with less than 48 hours notice, the certificate will be considered void and no longer valid.
• No extensions or reissues will be granted in this case.
• Please treat your prize with the same consideration as a paid appointment and provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
